Several Reasons to celebrate this June as ‘Ashridge Home Care’ scoops Three Care Awards for 2019
Family run care business ‘Ashridge Home Care’ has been recognised for its outstanding work and commitment to providing the very highest levels of service in the region. Having established as one of the leading providers of at-home care for Buckinghamshire, ‘Ashridge Home Care’ has been chosen to receive not one, but three separate coveted industry awards for 2019.
On behalf of the family run business, founder and Director Trudi Scrivener took the spotlight as she was recognised for her inspirational care leadership, at the Care Campaign for The Vulnerable Awards. Speaking from the prestigious event, Trudi commented:
“I’m absolutely honoured to be receiving the award on behalf of myself and the whole team at Ashridge Home Care. These awards are all about raising awareness and championing the cause of safety monitoring and safeguarding across the industry. Our clients are our number one priority and receiving this award is a humbling reminder of that. We’re always working hard to set a positive example and receiving this award is the icing on the cake!”
‘Ashridge Home Care’ also saw a double success at ‘The Dignity in Care Awards’, which was launched to celebrate outstanding examples of how dignity and respect are demonstrated across Buckinghamshire. Once again, Trudi Scrivener received an award at a high profile event, which recognised the passion and commitment she has tirelessly demonstrated, in working to improve care options in the county. Alongside Trudi, Ashbridge Home Care’s very own Dinnta Gould was awarded the highly commended ‘Fulfilling Lives Award’ for her outstanding work.
Ashridge Home Care is working with dedicated partners to support people in Buckinghamshire to age well and stay safe. There is always something we can do to improve our health and wellbeing. For older people who may be starting to find things more difficult, it is particularly important to take active steps to slow down or reverse some of the health challenges. It is essential that older people are supported to remain as healthy and independent as possible for as long as possible and they receive the highest quality care when they need it.
Trudi continued: “Once again, these awards mark the success of the whole team, who show absolute dedication and commitment to providing outstanding home care. I’ve been campaigning to improve care options for many years now, but it’s only with the efforts of countless others that this is possible.
“Caring in my view is one of the most important jobs carried out, so I think it is absolutely fantastic that carers are being recognised in this way.” adds Trudi
