Sharing some Tapas News

It is now four years since Tres Corazones opened in Wendover and brought a taste of Spain to the people of Buckinghamshire’s Best Kept Town.Owner and founder Katrina, along with her daughters Katie and Lena, are the ‘three hearts’ behind the restaurant and have done everything they can to share their passion for great food and service with their customers over the years.

Many of you will have made wonderful memories overpatatasbravas, a tortilla, croquetas and a bottle of Rioja or an Estrella – especially when the Wendover weather has done its best to imitate that of Madrid.

With Katie and Lena moving on to pursue new careers and travel adventures, Katrina has decided to pass control of the restaurant to herSpanish friend and fellow Wendover resident, Alba Vasquez, who brings many years of restaurant experience – most recently from Beast in London.

Katrina and Alba will work together on a handover in July, with Katrina very much looking forward to her first meal as a customer of the restaurant on August 1st, saying to Wendover News that “it’s been so exciting and rewarding to build the business, but I can’t wait to sit down and enjoy a meal without having to worry about anything other than what bottle of wine to choose!”

Alba looks forward to building on all that Katrina, Katie and Lena have achieved. For Alba,“Tapas is all about sharing: your food, your wine, your stories, and your love for friends and family – I hope that everyone will enjoy the restaurant just as much in the future as they have in the past.”

So Tres Corazones is here to stay, and to provide a warm welcome to everyone who cares to share in a little taste of Spain.
