Six weeks of summer fun with Aylesbury’s ‘#FunThursdays’ entertainment

Go Karts at a Fun Thursday

Summer favourite, ‘#FunThursdays’ is once again bringing family entertainment to Aylesbury’s town centre over the summer holidays.

Starting on 22 July and continuing over the six Thursdays throughout the summer holidays until Thursday 26 August, ‘#FunThursdays’ bring free and cheap entertainment and activities to children of all ages.

This Thursday (22 July), during 11am to 3pm, PAW Patrol fans can look forward to meeting their heroes, there’s a pirate on the loose, and older children can test their skills with go-karting (fee applies).

Gareth Williams, Buckinghamshire Council Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration said:

“It can be tricky keeping the kids entertained over the long summer break, so we’re delighted ‘#FunThursdays’ entertainment is coming back to Aylesbury for another year. And of course, parents and children don’t have to wait until Thursdays to enjoy all that Aylesbury has to offer. We’re delighted at how many great attractions there are to choose from in Aylesbury and in Buckinghamshire as a whole.”

Aylesbury is bursting with fun opportunities for kids and big kids alike every day. From new attractions like Flip Out, Funky Cinema, The Arcade and Stay and Play soft play, the ever-popular Aqua Vale Swimming Pool and Odeon Cinema, to free fun such as the library and Discover Bucks Museum to name a few.

And with so many family friendly cafés, restaurants and independent shops in the town, Aylesbury is a great choice for adults and children alike looking to have a great time. Think fun – visit Aylesbury.
