Sky’s the Limit for Chief Executive

The Chief Executive of Buckinghamshire County Council, Chris Williams, was invited to the airfield at RAF Halton for an air experience flight with Officer Commanding Operations, Squadron Leader Gary Coleman. The Station Commander offered Chris the chance to go on a training sortie earlier on in the month and so the date was set.

Squadron Leader Coleman said: “I flew Chris over the Vale of Aylesbury, Chequers, Waddesdon, Milton Keynes and Thame and was able to see the planned route for High Speed 2 (HS2).”

After the flight Chris thanked Squadron Leader Coleman, saying: “Thank you so much for flying me over Buckinghamshire, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a real treat for me to see my county from the air and to fly over so many of my current projects; HS2, the Calvert incinerator, Silverstone and East-West Rail to name but a few.”
