South of England salon group wins business award at national hairdressing event
Haringtons salon group has won the Marketing Campaign of the Year title, sponsored by Phorest at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2022.
Haringtons beat finalists from all over the UK to win the prestigious title, in recognition of its innovative approach to marketing and a thriving brand.
HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards have been a highlight of the industry’s calendar for the past 24 years. Held on Monday 4th July at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, the awards recognise the most successful salon businesses that have helped make the British hairdressing industry the most respected in the world. From standout salons and exemplary teamwork to groundbreaking innovations and trailblazing individuals, HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards are an annual celebration of business brilliance.
Entering this category requires the submission of a detailed dossier, outlining a successful marketing campaign that has had proven results for the salon, as well as evidence of a strong brand identity. Entries are then judged by a panel made up of category sponsors and industry experts.
On being announced as the winner, Nikki Neale from Haringtons said: ‘This is amazing! It’s our second time winning which shows that the group works consistently hard. This year, we wanted to show how we have progressed from last year’s win – we wanted to prove that you have to take stepping stones in marketing.’
Jayne Lewis-Orr, Executive Director of HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards said: ‘A strong marketing strategy can help a salon get noticed, reaching new clients and driving sales. Haringtons has once again demonstrated an excellent understanding of the market, an innovative and considered campaign and excellent results. This is a remarkable achievement and one they should be very proud of.’
Barry Maddocks from Haringtons in Winchester has also been named Salon Stylist of the Year, sponsored by Revlon Professional at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2022.
Barry beat finalists from all over the UK to win the prestigious title, in recognition of his all-round expertise, from creative and technical excellence to exceptional client care and a clear passion for their craft.
