Starlight ball to support local charity

The Chilterns MS Centre will be hosting a Starlight Ball on Saturday 19 November at Pendley Manor in Tring to help raise valuable funds for the Wendover-based charity.

The black tie event at the stunning Hertfordshire venue is one of the main fundraising events held by the Centre, although Covid 19 ha prevented it from taking place in recent years. Now that it’s back, the great location, great food and great entertainment means it will be the perfect night out with friends, family or colleagues, all while supporting a local charity.

The Chilterns Centre supports people with multiple sclerosis through a range of treatments such as physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, oxygen therapy and a range of leisure groups. Just as importantly there is a café serving tea and cake. More recently the charity has begun a pilot programme to open up its service to people with other neurological conditions, starting with Parkinson’s Disease.

“Three quarters of our income comes from fundraising so events like these are incredibly important in our efforts to support people with multiple sclerosis and help them to live life to the full,” said Hannah Prentice Community Fundraising Manager at the Chilterns MS Centre. “We’ve not been able to hold the ball for a few years so we’re really excited to be able to welcome people back for what will be a fantastic night.”
