Support group for Wendover families hosting Ukrainian refugees

The Wendover Society is considering the possibility of setting up a support group for families hosting Ukrainian refugees in Wendover.

We have had some interest in this idea, and so we have set up a meeting to explore how it can be taken forwards.

One of the two founders of the support organisation which is now up and running in the neighbouring hilltop villages has offered to come and talk to us about what they have done. There will then be an opportunity for discussion, and we will invite everyone to let us have their thoughts, based on this, on whether this would be of interest and if so, in what ways.

The meeting is on Wednesday 6th July at 7:30 pm at the Wendover Christian Centre, Aylesbury Road, Wendover HP22 6JG.

Anyone hosting a refugee family, or planning to do so, would be most welcome.
