Having a top floor of a home is a dream for many house hunters and a new survey from Barratt and David Wilson Homes has revealed the ways in which Buckinghamshire homebuyers would use a top floor if they owned a three storey home.

The survey, conducted by the five star developers*, disclosed that residents in the county would use their top floor for making a guest bedroom.

26% of homebuyers in Buckinghamshire said that they would create a guest bedroom on the top floor.

A housewarming party is the perfect opportunity to welcome friends and family to your new home. A guest bedroom available for them to stay in will allow the celebrations to continue until late.

Jason Hearn, Sales Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “Our properties in Buckinghamshire are ideal to host for guests with open plan kitchens and spacious living rooms, perfect for guests to mingle and enjoy the ample space whilst socialising.

“Purchasing a new home is all about sharing the occasion with loved ones and a guest room provides that comforting home-away-from-home feel.”
