Suzuki Drives Education at Bletchley Park
SUZUKI DRIVES EDUCATION AT BLETCHLEY PARK Milton Keynes Suzuki provides SX4 S-Cross for growing Education Programme |
Bletchley Park’s Education Programme is doubling in size to meet a huge increase in the thirst for knowledge of WW2 Codebreaking and its legacy. Milton Keynes Suzuki is supporting this growth by providing an SX4 S-Cross, straight from its showroom in Old Stratford. Bletchley Park’s Education Programme is already bigger than ever before, thanks to a number of successful funding partnerships. It offers packed visits for both primary and secondary schools, which include a tour of the highly atmospheric Codebreaking Huts and Blocks and exciting lessons in codes and ciphers as well as mathematics by stealth. If you cannot come to Bletchley Park, though, Bletchley Park can come to you. The Outreach Programme takes Enigma into classrooms, lecture halls and clubs all over the country. The Enigma machine used in the Outreach Programme is the same one shown in the forthcoming film about Alan Turing, The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Liz McCaffry Payne, Bletchley Park’s Trusts and Grants Officer, says “Having only been in MK for a year, Milton Keynes Suzuki are still establishing their role in the community and this partnership shows how keen they are to get to the heart of something people here rightly feel proud of.” ©Bletchley Park Trust |
