Swanbourne Music Festival – full details confirmed!

Organisers of Swanbourne Music Festival are delighted to now share the final line-up for the event, as well as further details on food, drink and other activities available on Sunday 25 August 2019.

Building up to legendary headliners The Zutons, the Sunday bank holiday afternoon – set in beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside (near Milton Keynes and Aylesbury) – will provide entertainment to suit all musical tastes.

Local bands Shotplate and 91 Nights will intrigue festivalgoers, with unique sounds and soulful performances. The Eclectix (also local) are back by popular demand in 2019, and will once again get the crowd singing along to pop classics.

J R Harbidge will bring a cool Americana vibe to the day. Ned Dylan Band, a mix of electronica with live instrumentation, and Flashback Photograph, likened to Mumford & Sons, have both played many of the big festivals. Catchy Pop Rock will be brought to the stage by Her Burden.

The main support act for The Zutons is sure to get Swanbourne rocking! Award-winning RSVP Bhangra is a high energy blend of Punjabi Indian music with dance beats and mainstream pop. They are veterans of Glastonbury, WOMAD, Boomtown and many more worldwide festivals.

The full line-up with further details on all performers can be found here.

Food and drink offerings have been significantly expanded. In addition to the usual burgers and ice creams, visitors can sample Mexican, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese and Italian cuisines – as well as plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. Alongside the huge bars and coffee vans, those with a sweet tooth will be pleased to find churros, candyfloss, pick & mix sweets and fudge.

Off the stage, and in-between pitstops for drinks and food, there’s still plenty going on. Giant inflatables, festival glitter and make-up, fairground rides for little ones, activities and crafts – and much more… there really is something for everyone!

Rohan Aldcroft, Area Manager for Oakman Inns, is pleased with plans for Swanbourne Music Festival 2019: “As Swanbourne Music Festival gets bigger and more established, we’re continuing to improve the whole set up. We want to make sure people don’t have to queue long, that they have a huge choice of food and drink, and that there is plenty to entertain the whole family.

The Betseyfest crowd is extremely friendly and happy, which makes for a really enjoyable day out for all ages, in a safe place with lots to see and do. The Zutons 2019 shows around the country are currently selling out, so we’re looking forward to a great headline performance from them at Swanbourne.”

Once again, Betseyfest will be fundraising for local charities. Wheelpower, Only A Pavement Away and DENS are the 2019 nominated charities. They will be partnering with the event, fundraising and raising awareness whilst also supporting with volunteer marshals and other logistics.

Tickets are on sale now.
