The Home Office proudly sponsors Tring sports
David Evans MBE is continuing his philanthropic efforts, with two of his exciting new brands – The Home Office and FundStar – delighted to have signed significant and exciting sponsorship contracts with Tring Tornadoes Junior Sports Club and Tring Athletic Football Club.
These are ground-breaking partnerships for both Tornadoes and Tring Athletic – the biggest and longest deals ever achieved – and mark the start of a four year relationship with each, which will provide the sports clubs with greater financial security, the ability to progress growth plans and support their activities.
As Tring-based businesses, both The Home Office and FundStar will benefit from increased brand awareness in the area, but are also keen to back their local community and support these hard-working sports clubs. David Evans MBE, Founder of Future Proof Enterprises, the umbrella organisation behind The Home Office and FundStar (amongst others), was the first individual to be awarded an MBE for the single citation of ’Services to Corporate Social Responsibility’ back in 2008. His good work in Tring and surrounding areas over 35 years has had a huge impact on schools, charities and organisations.
The Home Office is an exceptional co-working space located on Station Road in Tring. Aimed at freelancers, consultants, remote workers and small businesses, The Home Office members can choose from various flexible packages ranging from a regular ‘hot desk’ through to a full private office for up to four people. The beautiful building and excellent provisions are proving very popular with users; the member community has grown steadily since the business launched earlier this year – spaces and offices are now becoming limited!
FundStar is an innovative and unique fundraising mechanism. The product utilises card technology and assists with a growing demand for slick solutions to tight budgets and mounting pressures in schools, clubs and charities. As a simpler way to raise money for various causes, every time a supporter uses their FundStar prepaid card to make a purchase (online, offline or contactless), FundStar will add their specified micro-donation (between 20p and £1) and send that amount directly to their chosen school or project.
Howard Wells, Chairman of Tring Athletic Football Club, is extremely pleased to have negotiated this agreement, ‘We have enjoyed support from David Evans MBE over many years, but this long-term pledge is history-making for our club.’
Stephen Bailey, Chairman of Tring Tornadoes Junior Sport Club, is equally enthused about the deal, ‘As we approach our 50th Anniversary in September 2020, we’re delighted to have secured local business support that is fully aware of our history and is motivated to be part of our future. With more than 600 boys and girls playing football, futsal and netball at Tornadoes across the town of Tring and the surrounding villages, these children (ranging from 5 years of age through to 16) will all benefit from this commitment from The Home Office and FundStar. Our network of coaches and parents will see improvements to facilities and operations, which will undoubtedly enable us to extend our sports participations opportunities to even more youngsters locally.’
As part of the working relationship, new branded kit is now in circulation, featuring both brands’ logos, and various other promotional activities will take place throughout the course of the sponsorship agreement.
Daisy Evans, Director and Interior Designer behind The Home Office, is motivated to support her local community and delighted to have partnered with both Tring Athletic and Tring Tornadoes, ‘Looking after our town and supporting these amazing clubs is something we are thrilled to do. I look forward to having a lot of fun working together! ’
