The Hospice of St Francis relies upon community fundraising to help fund the £5 million needed each year to provide free care. By supporting the Hospice, you are helping more people in the local community to feel safe and supported through a life-limiting illness and to live their precious life well.

Hospice Coffee Mornings and Craft Fayres (Jan 2023)
On the last Friday of the month (except December) The Hospice of St Francis hosts a Coffee Morning in the Hospice Bistro and a Craft Fayre in the Acorn Suite. The next event is Friday 27th January. Pop along for a coffee and a chat to find out more about the Hospice and the work that they do. All proceeds from the Craft Fayre go to the Hospice. Christmas Tree Collection, (Jan 2023)
Teams of wonderful volunteers will be collecting and recycling Christmas trees this January, from the following postcodes: Harpenden (AL5) / St Albans (AL1, AL3 and AL4) / Hemel Hempstead (HP1, HP2 and HP3) / Tring (HP23) / Berkhamsted (HP4). Collection dates: Saturday 7th to Monday 9th January 2023. You don’t need to be in on the day! Simply leave your tree outside your house on the evening of 6th January (you can even specify exactly where your tree will be during registration!). Green with Envy Fashion Show (Feb 2023)
Get ready for another fantastic fashion show at Shendish Manor! (Apsley, HP3 0AA). Wednesday 1st February. Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30 start – Bar open from 7.00pm. Walk Your Ridgeway (June 2023)
Come together with family and friends on Sunday 11th June 2023 to support the Hospice and walk in remembrance of special people on this thirteen mile or twenty six-mile walk, (you pick!) retracing our history through Berkhamsted.
