Tring Park School for the Performing Arts premieres dates for Autumn Open Days

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is delighted to invite talented youngsters from across the UK to attend its first Open Day for 2023 entry into the school. The Open Days will take place on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th October 2022 and include both a morning session for younger students entering Years 3 to 11 and an afternoon session for those applying for the Sixth Form.

All Open Day sessions will include a guided tour of the school, a welcome talk by the Principal, Stefan Anderson, and the opportunity to meet pupils and staff. There will also be a live performance featuring pupils who are currently studying across the many courses available at the school.

“We are excited to host our upcoming Open Days and welcome those interested in joining the Tring Park family. It is important that the next generation of talented students can visit our wonderful school in-person and experience the buzz and energy which runs through the entire place, from the studios to the classrooms”, explained Stefan Anderson, Principal at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

A day and boarding school for students aged 7 to 19, those that attend receive broad training in the performing arts with a variety of courses including dance, acting, commercial music and musical theatre, alongside a full, extensive academic curriculum. Alumni includes Hollywood stars Lily James and Daisy Ridley, as well as successful singer Ella Henderson and West End and Broadway director/choreographer Drew McOnie.

During the afternoon session, prospective Sixth Formers will also have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with Dr Sarah Coren, Head of Sixth Form and Dr Anu Mahesh, Deputy Director of Academic Studies at the school.

“What we offer here at Tring Park is unique. The mix of specialist performing arts coaching with a high level of academic teaching, ensures students leave us as well-rounded individuals with the skills for whichever route they wish to take in the future. Whether it’s within the performing arts industry or another career path all together.” Anderson commented.
