Two Floors of Furniture for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity!
DOUBLE WHAMMY FOR FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE HOSPICE CHARITY – WITH NEW TWO – FLOORED FURNITURE SHOWROOM UNVEILING!
On Saturday 5th September, 10.00am, representatives from Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) and Town Mayor of Aylesbury, Cllr Allison Harrison, will officially unveil the Charity’s brand new Furniture Showroom, located at Unit 2, Aylesbury Business Centre, Chamberlain Road – now spreading across, not one, but TWO floors – a treasure trove of donated furniture goodies to feast your eyes on!
The new-look store, is replacing FNHC’s previous offering of a traditional ‘no frills’ warehouse, located at Unit 4, and moving two doors up to Unit 2, to a much bigger premises (previously L&M Lighting), enabling the Charity’s retail team to offer customers a larger choice of quality donated furniture, as well as new clothing bargains, all under one roof: “It’s an exciting time for Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, in terms of expanding our retail arm,” commented FNHC’s Head of Retail, Phil Moody: “The increased floor space will give us much more room to play with. By upscaling our furniture offer, we hope word will spread via our customers and supporters, and perhaps reach the wider community, who perhaps don’t even realise we have a furniture store, so that as a Charity, we can continue to support the future funding of local hospice services in and around the Aylesbury Vale area.”
Phil added: “We’ll be offering for sale good quality donated furniture, including beds, desks, sofas, tables, chairs, three-piece suites, settees, household goods and electrical items (PAT tested). We will also be housing and selling some new clothing, which has been donated to us, and this will be sold off at bargain prices, with our first week’s promotion on all ladies skirts at £5 each.
We will continue to operate our collection and delivery service for people, who either have quality furniture which needs a new home and they would like to donate it to us, or wish to purchase items from the showroom and need help with delivery.”
