The Vale of Aylesbury Sponsored Ride (VASR) has taken place on RAF Halton’s land and surrounding areas again this week. Sponsored by RAF Halton, the seven mile charity event over 50 country fences, normally attracts a large audience from the equine world. After the event, proceeds go to a number of local and RAF charities.

The ride has been taking place for many years now, some in blazing sunshine and others in snow blizzards, with a field of 200 riders taking part and one of the jumps being over a Jet Provost Mark 5.
