Visit Bucks launches #BrilliantBucks summer competition
Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns are asking the public to join in with their #BrilliantBucks campaign, by sharing videos on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, whilst out and about in Bucks this summer to highlight its beauty and amazing visitor attractions.
Not only will the creator of the most viewed video win a prize, the campaign will raise the profile of Buckinghamshire’s fabulous attractions, food & drink venues, shops, parks and more by featuring the public’s videos on Visit Bucks’ platforms, using the hashtag #BrilliantBucks.
Lucy Dowson, Tourism Development Manager of Visit Bucks, said: “We are looking forward to a summer of fun in Bucks and really want to see residents and visitors alike enjoying what’s on offer here. Sharing videos is a way for the public to become more involved with promoting our fabulous hospitality and leisure businesses as they enjoy their busiest time of the year. And our #BrilliantBucks campaign will also allow us and our businesses to showcase their offering. We really hope people join in – they might even win a great prize!”
Visit Buckinghamshire have lined up some great prizes – family entry to Green Dragon Eco Farm; a £50 voucher to spend at Howe Farm Flowers; a traditional afternoon tea for two at the Villers Hotel; tickets for a family of four to Silverstone Interactive Museum; and afternoon tea for two at The Grange, the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People Centre in Saunderton. Keep an eye on Visit Bucks’ social media platforms for more details.
In addition, Visit Buckinghamshire will be focusing on one of their businesses with the #BrilliantBucks hashtag. Check in on this platform every Friday and find out more about the fabulous businesses offering up prizes.
Hosted and managed by Buckinghamshire Business First, the Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns website is the most visited tourism website in the county (over 20,000 visitors each month), providing ideas and inspiration on the best things to do and places to visit, stay, eat and drink.
