Waddesdon Manor has kicked off the year with a fabulous new education programme for schools and the launch of their eagerly awaited education room. Now schools have a fantastic opportunity to make the most of what Waddesdon is offering.Our exciting new education programme, developed by our talented and friendly education officers, includes both the house and gardens, and some workshops are based on our temporary exhibition programme. Our inspiring workshops include having fun with fairytales; exploring plants in the gardens; examining the life of a rich Victorian; learning about mosaics and Roman life and looking at and creating sculptures. All these sessions link with the current curriculum.Our education space boasts an excellent array of resources to enhance learning. The team has a carefully selected collection of handling objects for the Roman and Victorian workshops.The unique opportunities we offer range from Key Stage 1 to A level and workshops can be tailored to meet your requirements.
