A warm welcome awaits singers, new and old, to Wendover Choral Society this autumn, when a new season of rehearsals starts once again in St Mary’s Church, Wendover under the direction of Peter Bassano. A concert of music by Faure is planned for 4 December. Weekly rehearsals are due to start on Thursday, 9 September, 7.45pm – 9.45pm.

Amazingly, despite the restrictions of the pandemic, Wendover Choral Society has not been silent. Socially-distanced rehearsals following COVID 19 rules in an approved venue were held in the autumn term, and more recently, this summer, we have been rehearsing for a private commission in August, which has been a joyous experience for us all.
