Wendover Cricket Club Update – March 2021

Wendover Cricket Club’s planning for the season continues in the hope that it will be able to start on time, but is obviously dependent on Government announcements. There will be the usual full range of activities including junior and senior cricket and the village cup. Additionally, the club has signed up to the ECB Dynamos programme and is using it for a girls only section in the 8 to 11 years old age group, with sessions planned for Sunday mornings; the ECB launch through which one registers has been delayed for the Government’s Covid update in March.

HS2 continues to frustrate and no meaningful start has yet been possible on planning for the new ground. February’s top winner of the 200 Club was Jonathan Seabrook.
