The Wendover Horticultural Society monthly meeting is on Thursday 2 March at St Anne’s Hall, Aylesbury Road, Wendover, at 2.30 PM. The speaker is Chris Day, from Buckingham Garden Centre, entitled “Colour in our garden”. Over the last 50 years the Centre has grown and established itself as the national “go-to” nursery for a wide range of shrubs and bare-root hedging plants. It hosts a regular podcast, discussing questions with specialists.
