Our meeting on 1 July didn’t happen as the expected lifting of COVID restrictions was delayed. We went on a socially-distanced coach trip to Rodmarton Manor in Gloucestershire on the 15 July. Very enjoyable and a much-needed escape from lockdown. We are hopeful that restrictions are lifted so that our first meeting will take place on Thursday, 2 September, at St Anne’s Hall, at 2.30pm. There will be a short AGM, followed by one of our members, John Yabsley, talking about Egyptian Gardens. Hopefully the September meeting will be the first of our monthly meetings which we have arranged at the same venue.
