Wendover Sparrowhawks Netball Club
New Year training is well underway and all teams are fully immersed in a fast paced and competitive season. Recently, Sparrowhawks Golds secured a win over Thame and the Youth team are also enjoying a successful run with two wins in succession. Sparrowhawks Blacks enjoyed a well fought match against club teammates the Golds, with the latter achieving the win in the final quarter.
It’s such a great feeling to see strong performances across the entire club.
In other news, The Sparrowhawks are delighted to receive a donation from the ‘Christmas Light Switch on’ from the Wendover Parish Council, so thank you to all the members of our community who provided us with support. This will contribute to our training venue costs.
Winter training is now taking place on Tuesday evenings, 6-7pm for Youth (13-16yrs) and 7-8:30pm for Seniors at the John Colet Sports Hall. Please email wendoverladiesnetball@hotmail.com for information.
