Wendover Woods Conservation Group
Would you like to do some useful practical conservation work? It is fun, sociable, healthy and a chance to enjoy a few hours in good company in the woods and countryside. You can do as much or as little as you want, heavy or light work. There is no pressure. The Wendover Woods Conservation Group, working in partnership with the Forestry Commission, BBOWT, and other conservation groups in the Chilterns, carry out a wide range of woodland conservation tasks. From tree planting and light coppicing to footpath enhancement and invasive species management, it is all intended to enhance the local conservation value and increase access opportunities on a wide range of sites.
