Wendover Parish Council supports Iain Rennie Hospice at Christmas Celebration

The annual Christmas light swtich on was a great success despite the showery weather!

Crowds of people gathered on The Manor Waste as part of the Christmas Celebration organised by Wendover Parish Council on Wednesday 3rd December 2014.

This year the beneficiary was Iain Rennie Hospice charity. The charity had a stall with a tombola and Bill Giles, the weather man, was helping to sell raffle tickets and tombola tickets. Bill Giles can be seen at Little Missenden village hall on Friday 5th December at 8pm. Tickets (£5, including a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie) from sarah@sarahhinnes.com, 01494 881 768 or £6 on the door.

The raffle prize was a hamper.

The Iain Rennie bear was also in attendance.
