Station Archivist Min Larkin has completed an 80 mile bike ride to raise money for the RAF Museum to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

To Mark the 80th Anniversary the RAF Museum launched an appeal to raise funds to support the vital work it does to  preserve the heritage of our Service. It requested its supporters and friends to cycle, swim, walk or run 80 miles in 80 days, or do anything else they can think of, to raise £80 (or more if possible). Over 4,000 people  have taken up the challenge both in the UK and several  other countries including the USA, Canada and Japan.

Halton’s archivist Min Larkin CBE is one who completed the challenge. So far he has raised over £700 and has cycled over 500 kms. The link to his JustGiving Page is below and he would greatly appreciate any donations.
